The Fair

I know that you all want to know about our trip to Boston but right before we left, went to the Fair on Thursday night. So you will just have to wait a little bit longer for a blog (or two or three) about our adventures in Boston and New York.

We had a great time at the fair Thursday night for Cantastic Night. You take 6 empty coke cans and you get free admission to the fair. Pretty good deal but they make up for it with the price of food and drinks and rides. We love to go and enjoy the once a year treat of fatty foods and wonderful funnel cakes and fresh lemonade. After dinner, we always head down to the kiddie ride area. Pretty scarce this year but we did find the other little rides mixed in with some of the bigger stuff. We'll have to remember that for next year. We had fun but only took a few pictures. So here are the highlights...

This is the one ride that Lindsey wanted to ride. She was pretty shocked when the carousel went really fast both around and up and down.
Reagan's first taste of funnel cake. She looks happy here but she did not take another bite. I'm thinking we have a little girl here who doesn't follow in her mommy's footsteps and love all kinds of sweets.Lindsey had been waiting all night to go and get her funnel cake and lemonade. She was not disappointed - she loved it all!
It was a cool night and, with the rain, I was more than ready to head home even before going to the rodeo. We skipped it this year (I know, that's horrible) but we were leaving the next day for DFW and then on to Boston on Saturday so we had to get moving and pack up. We had fun though and had two very sleepy girls when we got home that night.
