Reagan is Five Months Old

Reagan turned five months old on Sunday and looked so cute in this new dress from her great-grandmother we had to take her picture in it. I would have to say she is pretty adorable. And thanks to Mimi for the cute new bow. We have lots of new colors now. Can't wait to wear them all!
Just chillin'!

Happy Christmas Eve

I hope that everyone is enjoying their Christmas break. I know that we are. Lots has been going on so here is a recap of the last few weeks around our house.

Robert took me (and Reagan, too) to San Antonio for our eight year anniversary. We did all the regular stuff - dinner on the river, walk down the length of the river, visit the Alamo both during the night and the day. It was a wonderful, relaxing but short trip. We had fun and enjoyed being together. I can't believe it has already been eight years. How great is that!

Beautiful lights all down the Riverwalk.
Reagan's first trip to San Antonio had to be documented. Too bad she slept through most of it!
The Alamo was so pretty set behind all these lights.
It was weird to see the Alamo without much commotion around. We actually got a picture with no one in it but this was the best shot.
Of course, we had to take our own picture in front.

After we got home from San Antonio, we celebrated Christmas with my family at my parents house. Here are just some of the many pictures taken.
G-Papa with Reagan
This was Reagan's first encounter with the exer-saucer. I think she liked it.
Love this picture of Lindsey!
My Christmas was a blur. Too much activity right in front of me!
Reagan actually pulled a little on this package. I was so excited that I told Robert to take a picture.
Reagan got this cute cuddly horse/blanket from my mom's cousins, Lee and Stephanie. So soft!
Either Reagan was bored or tired out from all the excitement. She fell asleep while we were opening presents.
G-Papa was very excited to get this calendar that his grandchildren made for him. It has pictures of all his great-grandchildren in it. He loved it!
Andrew thought that the present Robert was opening was a slide. He went down it about ten or so times. We all laughed at his excitement.

Just some pictures to catch everyone up with our lives......

Reagan says, "I want to listen, too!"
Apparently, Reagan was not too happy here.

Both this year and last year, Robert has been gone to Florida the first week in December for work. And both years, Lindsey and I have made a gingerbread house. Don't be too impressed - it all came out of a box. We just add the icing and the candies. But it is fun and smells good!
I think Robert was trying to get a good picture of the two girls together at a friend's wedding last weekend. This is the best that ended up on my camera.
And here is a crooked version of our Christmas card picture. It is cropped better and zoomed in more for our cards though. But overall, it's the same picture.

Reagan is Four Months Old

Reagan turned four months old yesterday so here are the the new pictures. First is her wide-eyed look.
Now, the only picture we could get of Reagan smiling. Too bad her eyes aren't open all the way. I guess that would be asking too much! And of course, we need a picture of Lindsey on here today too. But I guess we don't take too many pictures of Lindsey by herself anymore. I'll have to get better at that. At least Lindsey likes taking pictures with her sister. Doesn't she look proud? This is a picture of the girls in Reagan's new hangout spot. She seems to like it (at least for a little while).

I know, I know. Reagan is looking a little slumped over. But she is getting better at sitting upright. Don't ya think?

Robert's New Project

Robert did such a great job on our playroom that we thought he should do some more handiwork around the house. The windowsill in the nursery needed some help. Apparently, when the house was built and window put in, it was not sealed properly. I had noticed that there was water on the windowsill after a rain. Then after a while, it kinda bubbled up. Well, we didn't do anything about it. Then Lindsey came along and had a real hard time with a stuffy, runny nose when she was little. Fast forward to Reagan. She had slept in our room since coming home from the hospital and then we decided to put her in the nursery. Well, the first night we put her in there, major problems with her nose started. I know all of you are saying, "Duh! The windowsill is nasty and is causing all kinds of problems." We know that now.

Robert ripped up the sill and looked under it. Gross! All black and disgusting! So here is a picture of what it looks like now. He still has a ways to go and keeps telling me that he doesn't really know what he is doing. Just playing it by ear. I guess we will see how long it takes to fix this problem. But for the meantime - Reagan is staying in our room (we're not that dumb!)

But on the bright side, I was able to frame the pictures of Robert and I with Reagan. At least that part of the nursery looks good!

Halloween 2008

Here are some pictures from our Halloween night...Enjoy!

Lindsey loved being a cheetah!

The girls with my parents.

I love this picture. Too bad Reagan isn't awake.

Lindsey playing after all the fun of trick or treating. She conked out pretty soon after this picture.

Three Months Old

Here is Reagan last week when she turned 3 months. She really isn't as fat as she appears. She is a big girl though (at least that is what people say!)

Lindsey's birthday

I have been trying to post all this since the day after Lindsey's birthday party. The computer wouldn't let me do pictures then. So, over a week later, here it goes...

We had a fun and busy week and weekend celebrating Lindsey's birthday. Too much to tell so I will just post pictures - beware there are lots!
Enjoying the milkshake she just had to order at Red Robin!

We had the waiters all come and sing to her - she didn't like it but did like the sprinkles on the sundae.

This is Lindsey happy to get a new computer game.

Lindsey didn't really want to be the center of attention (believe it or not) so Robert blew out the candles. I love Lindsey's face here though.

So the pinata started out up in the tree but soon was knocked down. What do you do when that happens? Look below...

Robert and our good friend, LaRae, had so much fun doing this!

The kids grabbing the loot. They were really picky (I had not seen that before with a pinata)

Reagan wasn't too impressed with all that was going on at the party. She spent most of the time like this!

Posing with the cupcakes Mimi made for her.

She loved the fact that this card had the number four on it.

She got her number four angel - which used to be mine. I loved those angels! Looks like she likes them too.

With Papa, Mimi, and cousin Andrew looking over a few gifts while G-Papa, Daddy, and Reagan look on.

Lindsey's cousin, Brielle, wasn't able to come but sent a gift to our house. She was so excited to get it.

Lindsey's Four!

So today was going to be a great day. Fun breakfast, Lindsey at school while I did things around the house, then after school more fun, and then dinner out tonight to celebrate Lindsey's birthday. Well, that didn't happen. At least, not as of right now. First of all, Lindsey woke up so excited. She was so ready to be four. Then it happened. Her tummy started to hurt. No fever though. She whined and cried but she still wanted to go to school. So we pack up everything, get Reagan in the car seat and head off to school. When we got there, she didn't want to go in. But, being the loving mom that I am, I made her. One of her teachers came out into the hallway to get her because she wouldn't walk in on her own with me there. Well, I was driving home and got a call to come and get her because she had just thrown up. What fun! So, an hour later we are all home and she is laying on the couch watching Prince of Egypt while I type. Maybe we will still be able to have a good dinner tonight for her birthday. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

One thing I am trying to do on birthdays is get a picture of the girls right when they wake up. It was much easier when Lindsey was still in her crib. I could just go in there and take a pic when she called for me. Now I have to take the picture wherever she might be when I get the camera.
Here is the picture of Lindsey the morning of her first birthday. Love the blankie!

Lindsey on her third birthday just after waking up.

Lindsey this morning, her 4th!

We have the other two years also but we can't seem to find them on the computer right now. I know we have hard copies in our photo albums at home but the digitals are hiding for some reason. I will put them up if we can find them.

My wonderful mom sent me the picture of Lindsey on her first birthday when she was in her crib. Thanks, mom! Still looking for birthday #2!

More Four Generations

Since I put up pictures of my side of the family, I figured I would get in trouble if I didn't add pictures of Robert's fam.
Here is Robert's mom, her parents, Lindsey, Reagan, and Robert in July.
And here is Robert, Reagan, Robert's dad, and his parents at our baby shower in August.
